This work is based on the patterns of my husband's shirts. Varied in both stylistic and material approach, the work consists of paintings on linen or wood, and weavings. The work draws from an intimate exchange and familiarity with the person I care about most deeply, and the process of making these paintings is a labor of love. Each work becomes a monument to the labor that comprises it.
